    February 9th

    By Felix | February 7, 2008

Looks like the traffic has reduced on my blog, and this gets me thinking, is it because I haven’t posted on my story recently or is there something else to it?… (lol)

Anyway, my birthday is on Saturday 9th of February, and I want to use the opportunity to be a blessing to the children at Heart Of Gold Hospices Home at Surulere in Lagos. I will be there from 10a.m till 12noon on Saturday, anyone interested in giving me a gift, can convert it to cash as I want to raise N200,000 for the children.

Let me see if I can describe the set of children that get sent to this home. The last case they had, that was early in January, the child was abandoned in a dustbin. As if that wasn’t bad enough, before she was found termites had eaten a good portion of the baby’s head (scalp) and its toes. The girl needs to be flown to Dubai for skin grafting sometime in March.

This is just one of the many cases they have, the set of children that are sent to this particular home are the ones that have been rejected by other homes because of how badly they are found or how close to death they are.

So, if you want to be a blessing, this is a very good opportunity to make a difference, lets meet at the home, the address is 57 Adebola Street off Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere, Lagos for those of us who can’t make it because of the short notice, you can indicate your interest here and I will send you an account number where you can add your contributions. God bless you as you give.

Meanwhile on a lighter note I was going through one of the daily’s and I found a very interesting article, that will interest us here and will be of use to Nigerians in Diaspora.

The title is 101 THINGS YOU NEED TO RELOCATE TO NIGERIA. Time is not on my side, so I’ll post it tomorrow.

I am also organizing a special breakfast meeting for youths who would like to know how I left the streets into becoming a First Class Business Development Consultant, that will be coming up sometime in march, I will put the date out here, but I think you can start letting people who need to be inspired to prepare to make it for the meeting. This will be taking place at either Sheraton Hotel Lagos or Elomaz hotel. As soon as arrangements are concluded, I will give full information on the theme of the events and the speakers who will be present.

    The event will be FREE!

    Let’s keep the flag flying.

    Peace n a fist!
