“The Secret”

I will say I have achieved the aim of this post or this post is successful when it changes the life of at least one person who will read it, now notice I said ‘when’ and not ‘if’. I am saying it that way because I strongly believe that it will, and also because what I am about to share with you here is a secret that I have unconsciously used in times past and its manifestations has gotten me thus far.
After watching a film or I should call it a documentary on The Secrets by Rhonda Byrnes, I got to tap a glimpse of the truth through a 100 year old book she researched, going back through centuries, tracing and uncovering a common truth that lay at the core of the most powerful philosophies, teachings and religions in the world.
The Secret explains with simplicity the law that is governing all lives, and offers the knowledge of how to create - intentionally and effortlessly - a joyful life. This is the secret to everything - the secret to unlimited happiness, love, health and prosperity.
The Secret reveals the most powerful law in the universe. The knowledge of this law has run like a golden thread through the lives and the teachings of all the prophets, seers, sages and saviors in the world’s history, and through the lives of all truly great men and women. All that they have ever accomplished or attained has been done in full accordance with this most powerful law.
After seeing the film, I strongly agree that with the principles of the law of attraction, which is the principle that “like attracts like.” It works all the time. “What we do is we attract into our lives the things we want, and that is based on what we’re thinking and feeling,”.
The principle explains that we create our own circumstances by the choices we make in life. And the choices we make are fueled by our thoughts—which means our thoughts are the most powerful things we have here on earth. I hope I’m not losing us here, follow me closely and you might learn something that will change your perception about life and trust me it simply starts with the line of your thoughts.
I know it’s not possible to finish the secrets I learned in this one post, so we’ll just take in as much as I can give today, but before I go further, I want to let you know that unless your mind is open or you allow it to be like that of a child NOW! You will, probably not learn anything new from here or not be able to put to full use the principles you will gain from here, but if you allow it to be, you will surprise even yourself.
I came into a better understanding of how the universe works in favor of us, the things we constantly think of, or that is constantly going through our minds are the things we unavoidable attract to ourselves.
You most likely know someone who is a great at manifesting. You may even have felt somewhat jealous of that person because it appears they have everything, seemingly getting these things with little effort as if they were born under a lucky star. Well, it may be that they very well were born with the knowledge of manifesting already intact. I say this because I believe we were all created with different skills and abilities or should I call it Gifts.
As any other skill people have, manifesting is no different from playing football or singing. How good you are at it depends on how efficient you have become at performing it. And, although some of us are better at certain skills, but that doesn’t mean the rest of us, with practice, can’t improve or even surpass the talent expressed by another. Those people who are efficient in attracting have trained their minds to focus on their desires. They have learned it so well that they often times don’t even realize how they do it. Abundance comes to them naturally. They wouldn’t blink an eye if someone suggested they don’t deserve something, it isn’t part of their reality.
To better understand how The Law Of Attraction works is the first step to creating abundance or Living a happier better life, let’s take a closer look at how it works.
We create our own reality. We attract those things in our life that we focus on, be it money, relationships or employment. I wish I could tell you that it is as simple as stating an affirmation, but no affirmation is going to work if your thoughts or feelings are negating the positive, now take note, it’s not wishing or wanting something that is enough, its focusing on the positive side of that particular thing.
When we focus on “having less” then we create that experience for ourselves. When we focus on “I hate my job” or “I hate my marriage” or “I don’t have enough” then we will never notice the aspects of our employment or that might be satisfying or aspect of our spouse that we love and enjoy or be able to enjoy and put to best use our ’so called’ little resources. Basically, just wanting something isn’t going to bring that to us when we continue to obsess on the not having of that something. All we will experience is “not having” and will be ultimately blocking our true desires.
Better to focus on a particular object or scenario rather than on winnings or cash.
Another mistake that we make is that we tend to think of abundance in terms of how much money we have in our bank accounts. I think focusing on winning the lottery is a fruitless event, how many rich or wealthy men do you see relying on the results of the lottery. Focusing on winning the lottery is kind of like focusing on “not having.” It’s easy to see this, look around at those who have held this desire, Most of the things say they would do with the winnings if they won, they could actually already be doing with their current incomes on a smaller scale, but they don’t. Why not? Because they cling to what they perceive as their “meager savings” with the attitude that they don’t have enough out of fear.
Here is an example of this: Some say they will give to charity and help the less privileged, when with the little they have they can already do that. A man’s mother owns a car that needs repairs. The son says “If I won the lottery I would buy my mother a new car.” But actually, the son has the means to take her car to the mechanics and pay out $400 needed in repairs to assure that his mom has a dependable car to drive back and forth to the market. When asked why he doesn’t just go ahead and have her current car repaired, he answers, “Well, I only have $800 in the bank, and doing that would knock out half my savings.
But ask him, what happens if his car needs repairs next week or my daughter gets sick and needs to see a doctor?”, or God forbids his mother dies, will he not spend that money?
I will stop here today with saying, change the way you think. Don’t think about what you will do once you reach a particular position in your life. Discover what you want to be and start on the journey by doing things which will get you closer to what you aim to be. Once you do this, the law of attraction will do marvels for you. The more successful projects you undertake, the more the success you will taste.
