Imagine…
By Felix | July 22, 2008
I just read a powerful piece from my mentor’s blog and I felt I should share this, but before I go into details, I want us to sit back and imagine, close your eyes for a minute and imagine that you had all that you had envisioned or dreamed of for yourself, imagine you could afford that beautiful house you saw in the pages of that magazine, or that beautiful car that you have always wanted or the handsome prince charming that you’ve always wanted to sweep you off your feet or that beautiful damsel that you want to be the mother of your kids.
Imagine that the world was without crime, war and violence, imagine that you had the power to cause positive change where ever you went to, imagine that when ever you entered to have a meeting or where ever you went to drop that proposal, they’ll say … “we have been waiting for a solution like this” or “where have you been all this while” or “you are the answer to our problems”.
Imagine that every business you touched or had a say in, became successful or imagine that you were the most sort after in your field of endeavor, or whenever you finished talking to people, they always say God Bless You!, not because they are religious, but because they have seen the light through your words, imagine if your cars ran on water instead of fuel, imagine you had the World in Your Hands… the list could go on, but let’s wake up and come back to the rude reality of our daily life routine that we have managed to somehow create for ourselves, yes you heard me right… we somehow managed to create for ourselves.
We wake up every day and enter into the hustle and bustle of the day, sometimes forgetting that we do not own ourselves, that we don’t need to carry the burdens on our own, that there is a supreme being somewhere, that has made it available for us to become whatever we want to become and have everything we need, and all we have to do is ask, asking and believing that it is available means we have enough faith in Him to know that he did not just create the world, he created it with everything we needed and then gave us dominion over it all, making us co-creators with Him.
He didn’t stop there but he also sent his only son to save the world for us and carry all or sins and burden, this means you don’t have to keep that guilty feeling that prevents you from accessing God, He knows that by our ability we cannot have access to heaven or please him, that’s why He sent Jesus to die so we can be saved, to suffer so we don’t have to suffer.
I realized today after reading from this post, that all I have to do is ask Him to Make Me, not give me, but Make Me and You too can!
Daily Feed!
Lord, I pray today, that you make me a blessing to my generation. Make me a positive influence. Make me someone whose words carry value, make me wiser than my age. I am a co-creator with you, make me find who your words say that I am. Rid me of greed and selfishness; make me one who pauses long enough to know when to help.
Minister seed to me, and let me get understanding in the season of harvest. Make me a son that brings you joy! Make me qualify for the things you have already given me. Give me wisdom and understanding to make manifest the things that are now unseen. Open my eyes here on earth, to see the things that are mine already in heaven. Please help me to become all that you envisioned for me to be when I accepted Jesus as my Savior.
Help me to be genuinely committed to you, to live in harmony with your will, and enthusiastically serve you with my life. Your will be done on earth, as it is already in heaven. Make me!
Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer.
Gratefully, in Jesus’ name, amen.”

This is another dimension to “imagine me”. Thanks this is well received.
God’s answers to our prayer goes beyond imagining. It requires imagining and believing…
“Lord don’t give me what i want but what i need to become made. Make me a solution provider to my generation”

“My eternal Father…help me to become that which you had in mind when you created me. May i live each day in the line of the destiny you have prepared for me. May my life please you always. May i exhibit that which you have made me to be through my love - Jesus Christ. Make me a true JesusFreak in words, thoughts and deed…. In His precious name i have prayed…Amen”

we all wish the world could be a perfect place and all our dreams could come true. But with God by our side, we can go a long way in achieving them.
